The alleged incident occurred on the intervening night of 8 March and 9 March at around 12.15 am when Gurudwara Express reached Jhansi station.

As the minister was late by a few minutes, her supporters allegedly pulled the chain to stop the train. The train could only leave at 12.30 am, sources said.
