Pravin Togadia condemns Mufti’s Pakistan remark, demands an apology

Palanpur(Guj): VHP International's general secretary Pravin Togadia condemned the statement of Jammu and

Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed on Monday for giving credit to Pakistan, as well as separatists for peaceful conduct of polls in that state.

"We condemn the remarks made by Jammu and Kashmir. VHP demands a public apology from Mufti Mohammed Sayeed for taking the side of Pakistan and Pakistan sponsored militants in reference to that state's assembly elections," Togadia said here.

Togadia also criticised some PDP MLAs demand to return the mortal remains of Parliament attack case convict Afzal Guru who was hanged in 2013.

"By raising this demand, the PDP has shown in clear words that they stand by terrorists who attacked the Indian Parliament," Togadia said.

Incidentally, the newly elected Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Sayeed had credited Pakistan and separatists for peaceful elections in that state yesterday.

Today, eight PDP MLAs issued a statement demanding return of Afzal Guru's mortal remains.

The BJP and the PDP formed a coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday.
