Jeb Bush, Scott Walker among crop of 2016 contenders to attend RNC donor retreat

The Republican National Committee’s donor retreat later this month in Florida will serve as another cattle call for the party’s expected presidential contenders, the latest stop in what has been a frenetic -- and early -- money primary.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will both make appearances at the private gathering, set to be held March 20 through 22 at a luxury hotel in Boca Raton, Florida. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Texas governor Rick Perry, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania and former New York governor George Pataki are also scheduled to attend.

In addition, Florida Gov. Rick Scott and newly elected GOP senators such as Cory Gardner of Colorado and Thom Tillis of North Carolina are expected to make appearances at the gathering of major party contributors.
